The global CAWSES campaign to observe the upper atmosphere ran between March 27 and April 5, 2004. TIDI obtained neutral wind observations of the lower thermosphere on a global basis during this period. Neutral winds at Sondre Stromfjord Greenland were measured by an NSF sponsored Fabry-Perot interferometer. The lower thermosphere was not much changed from 2003, but the upper thermosphere suggested stronger meridional flow in the boreal region. See presentation
