Users planning to publish results derived from TIDI data or data products are encouraged to offer co-authorship to the Principal Investigator and/or TIMED Project Scientist, or to team member(s).
It is suggested that users heed any caveats of the TIDI team related to the interpretation and limitations of TIDI data, error estimates, and data products.
TIDI team members may suggest that such caveats be published, even if co-authorship is declined.
TIDI data and data products are tagged with version numbers indicating the algorithms, data formats, and calibration files used in the production of these data and data products. It is recommended that TIDI data users specify these version numbers when publishing results to avoid any uncertainty related to the origin of these data.
Data is produced in netCDF format. Example data readers are available upon request.
